Biography |
My name is Sean Tighe, and I am a Master's student in Materials Science and Engineering student at Georgia Tech. I am originally from Milledgeville, GA, and I have a long tradition with Scouting. My first experiences with Scouting came as a Tiger Cub, and after many years of Cub and Boy Scouting, I became an Eagle Scout with Troop 87 of the Central Georgia Council. In my troop, I was a patrol leader and senior patrol leader. I also had the honor of being my troop's crew leader during our 50 mile hike through Philmont Scout Ranch. In addition, I am a Vigil Honor member of Echeconnee Lodge in the Order of the Arrow. I served on Echeconnee's Lodge Executive Committee for two years during which I was in charge of induction ceremonies. While studying at Georgia Tech, I participate in graduate research, and I am also a trombone section leader in the Yellow Jacket Marching Band. |
