Sponsor Information

To start and get the event password, go to Quapawbsa.org then "Event Registration" for MBU to indicate the number of Scouts to pay for. You can go back in and add more later. Your email response will have the password. If you add Scouts, later, go to this site first to sign them up for a class, and then back to quapawbsa.org to pay again. If you want to change classes for a Scout, add to the new class first before deleting from the old class.

Check the event Facebook page for updates, Quapaw Council Virtual Merit Badge University 2020. Continual and last minute changes will be posted on FB.

https://www.facebook.com/events/2179883785448289/

Registration will open Thursday, April 9, 5:00 pm (it will be changed at that time). Metalwork (blacksmith) is the only actual hands on location. It is only 3 Scouts BSA and 2 counselors in an open air setting. Be sure that your parents approve.

Registration is $5 per Scout to pay at quapawbsa.org (Event Registration). Your Scouts BSA should have their Cyber Chip card from my.scouting.org  We need a registered adult or parent to sit in on the classes for YP. Most presentations will be with Zoom and some using Google Classroom. A gmail account is needed for this, probably a personal one, not a school one.

Have 1 or 2 adults register your Scouts. There must be 1 or 2 adults  linked to your troop for registration (BE SURE ALL HAVE YOUR CURRENT
DISTRICT NAME IN YOUR PROFILE) site before you can add a Scout.  You
must have your BSA number, YPT date and DoB the first time at
meritbadge.info. Be sure that you have toggled down to the Quapaw event
toward the top of the registration page (this may have changed). SCOUTS DO NOT NEED A ZOOM ACCOUNT IF THEY USE THE LINK AND PASSWORD PROVIDED BY THE COUNSELOR.

The email address  posted with your Scout will be the one that will receive the final information on the time, date and log in information (use an adult, parent or older Scout as you wish). Some classes may be on May 9, others other times and times and perhaps multiple sessions.  Be sure the email is a
correct one, or I can't send a mass email.
