Adults must enter their BSA Number, DOB, First and Last name as it appears on their BSA ID card. We will query BSA and get back an answer. At this point one of three things can happen:
1) Your registration is verified - you can continue using Meritbadge.info normally
2) You are not registered or your registration has lapsed - your prior rights are revoked and you get the read-only screens that you see before your login
3) You are registered but your YPT has expired - your prior rights are revoked and you get the read-only screens that you see before your login

You have had at least two months to get yourself registered and complete YPT training. If you feel your validation is not working, send us an email with the four data items listed and we will validate your entry.

We have no control over what is on file at BSA. If everything matches your BSA ID card, there should be no issues. If not, your validation will fail.

Why are we doing this?
1. To provide higher security and validation of all adult users.
2. To clean up the mess we've accumulated via 15 years of poor user data entry.  

How will we do this? 

What should you do? 
Login to https://my.scouting.org/ and copy your BSA ID Number then update your profile on Meritbadge.info.  Let others in your unit know they should do the same.  We are giving you 2.5 months advanced notice to make this work.

Troop 66 located in Barlow, Kentucky, is sponsoring the Merit Badge College for all scouts in our region and beyond.   The event will be held at the West Kentucky Community and Technical College Campus's Emerging Technology Center in Paducah, KY.

Description
Troop 66 is sponsoring the Merit Badge College for all scouts in our region and beyond.  The event will offer scouts opportunities to work on or complete 1 or 2 merit badges.   Completion is based solely on individual scouts work and is not guaranteed.   Scouts are expected to obtain and read the BSA merit badge book and the merit badge worksheets, complete any pre-requisites listed (counselor assigned) and bring classroom materials (pencil, paper, etc.) with them to class.     Lunch will be provided.  Some Merit Badges/Classes may require additional Material Cost.

From Illinois, via I-24:   Take I-24 East into Kentucky.  Take Exit 7 for US-62 West.  Turn Right onto US-62 West, toward Bardwell.  Continue .9 miles to 5100 Alben Barkley Drive (on your left).

 


From Missouri or Illinois, via Cairo:  Take  US-62/US-60/US-51 to cross into Kentucky at Cairo.  At the stop sign, turn right onto N 4th Street/US-62/US-51.  At the stop light, turn left onto Court Street/KY-121.   At the Y, turn slight left for KY-286.  Continue for 16.7 miles.   Merge onto US-62 at the stop sign.  Continue 7.8 miles to 5100 Alben Barkley Drive (on your right).


 


From Tennessee, via I-24:   Take I-24 West into Kentucky.   Take Exit 7 for US-45 toward US-62.  Continue Straight at the bottom of the ramp for US-62.   Turn Left onto US-62 West.  Continue .9 miles to 5100 Alben Barkley Drive (on your left).
