Notice!!! Meritbadge.Info will switch to the new site with BSA validation Friday morning March 13th.
If you wish to start using this site today, click here to launch meritbadge.info/mbn2
Adults must enter their BSA Number, DOB, First and Last name as it appears on their BSA ID card. We will query BSA and get back an answer. At this point one of three things can happen:
1) Your registration is verified - you can continue using Meritbadge.info normally
2) You are not registered or your registration has lapsed - your prior rights are revoked and you get the read-only screens that you see before your login
3) You are registered but your YPT has expired - your prior rights are revoked and you get the read-only screens that you see before your login
You have had at least two months to get yourself registered and complete YPT training. If you feel your validation is not working, send us an email with the four data items listed and we will validate your entry.
We have no control over what is on file at BSA. If everything matches your BSA ID card, there should be no issues. If not, your validation will fail.
Why are we doing this?
1. To provide higher security and validation of all adult users.
2. To clean up the mess we've accumulated via 15 years of poor user data entry.
How will we do this?
What should you do?
Login to https://my.scouting.org/ and copy your BSA ID Number then update your profile on Meritbadge.info. Let others in your unit know they should do the same. We are giving you 2.5 months advanced notice to make this work.

Hello Scouts, UPDATE FOR TOMORROW (See below for WELDING INFO)
At this time it looks like we will be able to start as planned. Doors will open at 6:30 am, classes begin promptly at 8:00. Please be there by 7:15 to check in, particularly if you have changes to make in your registration. Classes will end at 4:00. No scouts will be allowed to wait outside for their ride. Please go into the B hall downstairs and wait in front of your troop number for your ride. We will be monitoring the weather and you may call my cell phone at (901) 826-0137 for a voice recording of start times. If there are any changes in schedule I will send out an email and post on my voice mail.
Scouts are known for their preparation. Bring pencils, paper, your merit badge books, any prerequisites asked for by your counselor and worksheets. Worksheets can be printed off the site meritbadge.org.
In addition to your prepaid lunch, there will be a snack table selling drinks, candy and chips. If you purchase these please eat them in the lunchroom or the foyer. Food and drinks are NOT allowed in the classroom. We abide by the Leave No Trace policy in the school!
Attention Welding Participants!
The address has changed for welding!! The new address is as follows;

Unit Sign-up Instructions |
When signing up your troop please note that there is a spot to sign up adults. This will allow us to have an accurate lunch and patch count. This will also allow us to have the name tags correct and ready to go.
Please direct all questions to Jill Watkins at 901-361-2275 or jill@germinatorsmidsouth.com
Class A uniforms are the official uniform for the day.
There will be three contests:
1. Troop with the most scouts in attendance
2. Troop that traveled the farthest
3. Scout with the most merit badges. Scouts need to bring their sash and check in at the table in the lobby. This table will have a sign on it for the contest.
For all off site classes the troops will need to provide transportation for their scouts. Lunch will be brought to the sites.
After February 1 we will be unable to make any changes to the registration. If changes are necessary there will be a separate table at check in for this purpose. Please do not get in the main line for troops checking in that have no changes.
Walk in are welcome and can register at the changes table at registration.
