Adults must enter their BSA Number, DOB, First and Last name as it appears on their BSA ID card. We will query BSA and get back an answer. At this point one of three things can happen:
1) Your registration is verified - you can continue using Meritbadge.info normally
2) You are not registered or your registration has lapsed - your prior rights are revoked and you get the read-only screens that you see before your login
3) You are registered but your YPT has expired - your prior rights are revoked and you get the read-only screens that you see before your login

You have had at least two months to get yourself registered and complete YPT training. If you feel your validation is not working, send us an email with the four data items listed and we will validate your entry.

We have no control over what is on file at BSA. If everything matches your BSA ID card, there should be no issues. If not, your validation will fail.

Why are we doing this?
1. To provide higher security and validation of all adult users.
2. To clean up the mess we've accumulated via 15 years of poor user data entry.  

How will we do this? 

What should you do? 
Login to https://my.scouting.org/ and copy your BSA ID Number then update your profile on Meritbadge.info.  Let others in your unit know they should do the same.  We are giving you 2.5 months advanced notice to make this work.

Description
This is our Ttird year at Destiny USA!  This event gives Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts the opportunity to explore different merit badges and to have fun at the same time.

Unit Sign-up Instructions
Please make note: Please keep track of the class times. If you register for more than one class at the same time the system will not see the issue.



The Kiosk classes are a chance for any scout that has completed merit badges but need a counselor to sign off. The Merit Badges that can be addressed are:  Reading & Scholarship. Please note, you must be PREPARED with a completely filled out Workbook for the Merit Badge and blue card signed by your Scout Master. Nothing will be taught during this session. It's important that all the work is completed in advance.



Each Scout is REQUIRED to bring the class worksheets and signed blue card with them as well as any pre requisites listed. If a Scout is not prepared they will not receive a signature. Worksheets can be found on http://meritbadge.org/wiki/index.php/Merit_Badge_Worksheets.



Each unit must have at least 2 adults in the building for every 10 Boy Scouts from your Troop. The responsible adult will have to provide a contact phone number upon check in. 2 deep leadership applies at all times.



Absolutely no class changes or substitutions will be accepted at the door.

If you are not able to use Credit Card, bring cash into the Council office or send payment by check or money order. Please make checks out to Longhouse Council.

 

Please include a print out from your registration screen so we know which scouts you are sending payment in for.
