If you are having trouble registering scouts, carefully read the information on the help tab.
If you send an email that does not include the information we need to help you, it wastes time and will get promptly deleted.
Test drive the new site (in progress) at New Meritbadge.Info.Leave comments at our Facebook page.

Notice!!! Meritbadge.Info will switch to the new site with BSA validation Friday morning March 13th.

If you wish to start using this site today, click here to launch meritbadge.info/mbn2

Adults must enter their BSA Number, DOB, First and Last name as it appears on their BSA ID card. We will query BSA and get back an answer. At this point one of three things can happen:
1) Your registration is verified - you can continue using Meritbadge.info normally
2) You are not registered or your registration has lapsed - your prior rights are revoked and you get the read-only screens that you see before your login
3) You are registered but your YPT has expired - your prior rights are revoked and you get the read-only screens that you see before your login

You have had at least two months to get yourself registered and complete YPT training. If you feel your validation is not working, send us an email with the four data items listed and we will validate your entry.

We have no control over what is on file at BSA. If everything matches your BSA ID card, there should be no issues. If not, your validation will fail.

Why are we doing this?
1. To provide higher security and validation of all adult users.
2. To clean up the mess we've accumulated via 15 years of poor user data entry.

How will we do this?

What should you do?
Login to https://my.scouting.org/ and copy your BSA ID Number then update your profile on Meritbadge.info.  Let others in your unit know they should do the same.  We are giving you 2.5 months advanced notice to make this work.

Chattanooga Audubon Society

The Chattanooga Audubon Society(CAS) continues its long tradition of partnering with the Scouting movement to provide programming and service project opportunities to Scouts. Chartered in 1944 by Robert Sparks Walker and other civic leaders, the Chattanooga Audubon Society is a diverse organization established to educate and promote an understanding of the responsibility borne by all individuals to preserve and protect our environmental, cultural, and historical resources.

With that mission in mind, CAS in conjunction with BSA Crew 2071 from Audubon is pleased to offer a Merit Badge University(MBU) focusing on the Outdoor and Environmental badges. This opportunity will be offered at the Audubon Acres property, one of three properties owned and managed by CAS.

Audubon Island, in downtown Chattanooga, in the Tennessee River, is avaialble for canoing/kayaking adventures and primitive camping, while Audubon Mountain offers access to the Cumberland Trail as well as primitive camping.

Description

Audubon Acres Merit Badge University is a camping opportunity and MBU all rolled into one event. Your unit can camp for the weekend and ALL of your Scouts, regardless of rank or age, can choose a program to attend.  This MBU will focus on the Outdoor and Environmental merit badges that may be hard to accomplish individually.

Fees

Fees are $20 per Scout, which includes the MBU, a patch, and lunch on Saturday the 7th. Two  adult leaders are free with every 10 Scouts. if less than 10 Scouts, all leaders are $10 each with Saturday lunch included. You can camp for an additional $5.00 per scout and  leader (other than the 2 that are free if you have more than 10 boys).  1. All adults must register by signing up for the class"ABA for adults". Use the session marked "free leaders" for your 2 free if you register more than 10 boys; and/or use the other session "ABA for adults" class if you are registering adults who will need to pay the $10.00.  2. All adults and scouts who will be camping must  sign up for the class "Campsite" and this will charge your account the $5.00. Each unit is responsible for meals other than Saturday lunch. There will be a Cooking contest on Sunday morning, more details in Registration packet.

Pre-registration is required and all paperwork and fees must be completed by September 29. There will be NO ONSITE or late registration accepted. The campsite will open at 6 pm on Friday evening, Oct 6th and all units should plan on being checked out by 12 Noon on Sunday, Oct 8th.  Camping areas will be assigned by staff, based on time and size of registration, and arrival.

The Coleman@ Company factory representatives will attend again bringing gear and supplies for sale at below wholesale prices, so bring your shopping list and empty your piggy bank!

There will a display and sale of Boy Scout Memorabila by "The Carolina Trader". He both buys and sells historical scout "stuff"; so be prepared to bring things to sell, trade or purchase if that is your thing!

BBQ plate lunch will be catered by Rib-n-Loin. Lunch will be BBQ Pork, Beans, Mac-n-Cheese, Bread, & Sauce.

*You can register and pay for your guest lunch by selecting the "food" activity. Each adult ior youth you register here will be charged $10.00 for the lunch only. This is only for guests not otherwise registered as a leader or a scout attending the event. Their lunch is included in the registration fee.

Webelos Activity

We are so very sorry, but because our district  was recently split and the old DE just left and a new one has recently arrived, the district does not have the staffing to run this. We are going to have to cancel for this season. We will remove this class from the offering.

Adult Training

The Council will also be holding IOLT all weekend if any of your leaders need this training. The fee is $25.00 and you will not be charged for the MBU. For more information about this adult event held in conjunction of the MBU contact Jeff Liang, council training chair at: Jeff and Renee Liang <jllmrl@hotmail.com>
