Adults must enter their BSA Number, DOB, First and Last name as it appears on their BSA ID card. We will query BSA and get back an answer. At this point one of three things can happen:
1) Your registration is verified - you can continue using Meritbadge.info normally
2) You are not registered or your registration has lapsed - your prior rights are revoked and you get the read-only screens that you see before your login
3) You are registered but your YPT has expired - your prior rights are revoked and you get the read-only screens that you see before your login
You have had at least two months to get yourself registered and complete YPT training. If you feel your validation is not working, send us an email with the four data items listed and we will validate your entry.
We have no control over what is on file at BSA. If everything matches your BSA ID card, there should be no issues. If not, your validation will fail.
Why are we doing this?
1. To provide higher security and validation of all adult users.
2. To clean up the mess we've accumulated via 15 years of poor user data entry.

Login to https://my.scouting.org/ and copy your BSA ID Number then update your profile on Meritbadge.info. Let others in your unit know they should do the same. We are giving you 2.5 months advanced notice to make this work.

Parents and Scout Leaders read carefully.
REGISTRATION:
Pre-registration is REQUIRED. A waiver form is REQUIRED to be signed by both parents and will be emailed to the parents email listed during registration. If no email is listed, that scout will be dropped. It can also be downloaded from http://www.acquibob.com/release-form.html. If a scout cannot get the waiver signed by both parents, a parent will need to contact Mr. Colby. The requirement for both parents signature is from the host facility.
Payment is due upon registration, see below for more information.
UNIFORM: The Class "A" uniform is the uniform for the day.
CODE OF CONDUCT:
The Scout Oath, the Law, and the Outdoor Code shall be the code of the Merit Badge Day. A Scout whose conduct is not consistent with the code will be directed to leave immediately.
CLEAN UP:
The Scout is clean. Future offerings of the Merit Badge Day will largely depend on
how neat we leave the place.
Scouts will need to bring their own bicycle\skateboarding helmet. Helmet that are provided are generic in size and not form fitting.This requested since most personal helmets have already been sized and are form fitting.
Scouts will need either boots or tennis shoes, no flip-flops, sandal, or other type of soft shoe.
Due to safety reason, anyone not deemed to have appropriate shoes will not be allowed to do the Horsemanship merit badge.
Scouts will complete both Horsemanship and Animal Science merit badges. Scouts will be divided into 2 groups and will complete each merit badge and then switch to do the other marit badge.
Cost is $25.00 for the whole event.
A tour of the farm will be included. Parents are welcome to stay and watch\photograph the event.

BLUE CARDS / Merit Badge Books.......
All Scouts must bring to class a Blue Card SIGNED by their Scoutmaster.
The Blue Card will be updated with tasks completed in class and returned to Scout the end of the merit badge class. It is the responsibility of the Scout to request and obtain his Blue Card before leaving.

In order to register for this class, you will need to register with the website. Please include your contact information such as phone number and email address in case we need to contact the scout in case of changes. YOU WILL NEED TO INCLUDE YOUR SCOUTS TROOP NUMBER. IF YOU FAIL TO INCLUDE THE TROOP NUMBER WHEN YOU REGISTER, YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO REGISTER SO PLEASE READ CAREFULLY.
CHECK IN: All blue cards will be turned in when the scout checks in.
CHECK OUT: Blue cards will be given out upon completion of the merit badge class. Blue cards not issued out will not be mailed. Scouts are responsible for the collection of their blue cards upon completion of the class.

There is a $25.00 fee for these merit badge class. Payment is due when you register for the event. Failure to pay by close of registration will result in scout being dropped from the event.
