Adults must enter their BSA Number, DOB, First and Last name as it appears on their BSA ID card. We will query BSA and get back an answer. At this point one of three things can happen:
1) Your registration is verified - you can continue using Meritbadge.info normally
2) You are not registered or your registration has lapsed - your prior rights are revoked and you get the read-only screens that you see before your login
3) You are registered but your YPT has expired - your prior rights are revoked and you get the read-only screens that you see before your login

You have had at least two months to get yourself registered and complete YPT training. If you feel your validation is not working, send us an email with the four data items listed and we will validate your entry.

We have no control over what is on file at BSA. If everything matches your BSA ID card, there should be no issues. If not, your validation will fail.

Why are we doing this?
1. To provide higher security and validation of all adult users.
2. To clean up the mess we've accumulated via 15 years of poor user data entry.

What should you do? 
Login to https://my.scouting.org/ and copy your BSA ID Number then update your profile on Meritbadge.info.  Let others in your unit know they should do the same.  We are giving you 2.5 months advanced notice to make this work.

~There is no charge to attend this merit badge college. As such we ask that leaders who bring their scouts volunteer to assist with classes.  All boys must bring their own blue card as cards will not be provided.



Boy Scouts must bring their own merit badge book and not rely on possible handouts for each class.



 A bag lunch is required as lunch will not be provided. There is a refrigerator at both locations for medication if needed.



0900 – 1200 First Merit Badge Session

1200 – 1300 Lunch

~What:  1st Annual LDS Merit Badge College

When: Saturday, 11 October 2014 from 8:30am to 4:30pm.  Doors open 8:00 am for check-in/registration verification.

Where (Merit Badges): Kernversville/Colfax Ward building ~8934 W Market St Colfax, NC 27235

Who should attend: Open to all registered Scouts (Troops, Teams and Crews)

Uniform: BSA Class A.

 
Counselor Information
~Please contact scouts that are assigned to your class through email before the event to be sure they understand what is expected of them.
Unit Sign-up Instructions
•Unit Leaders: For Registration go to www.meritbadge.info and click on the button, then scroll to 10/11/2014 to see Event, Click on “Sign Up” button in right column.

•Registration is completed at the unit level by unit leaders and not by individual Scouts. The unit leader first registers the unit, then adds unit attendees.

Invitation Password to register:  pioneer

•Click on “enter” after entering the invitation code to begin adding attendees.
