If you are having trouble registering scouts, carefully read the information on the help tab.
If you send an email that does not include the information we need to help you, it wastes time and will get promptly deleted.
Test drive the new site (in progress) at New Meritbadge.Info.Leave comments at our Facebook page.

Notice!!! Meritbadge.Info will switch to the new site with BSA validation Friday morning March 13th.

If you wish to start using this site today, click here to launch meritbadge.info/mbn2

Adults must enter their BSA Number, DOB, First and Last name as it appears on their BSA ID card. We will query BSA and get back an answer. At this point one of three things can happen:
1) Your registration is verified - you can continue using Meritbadge.info normally
2) You are not registered or your registration has lapsed - your prior rights are revoked and you get the read-only screens that you see before your login
3) You are registered but your YPT has expired - your prior rights are revoked and you get the read-only screens that you see before your login

You have had at least two months to get yourself registered and complete YPT training. If you feel your validation is not working, send us an email with the four data items listed and we will validate your entry.

We have no control over what is on file at BSA. If everything matches your BSA ID card, there should be no issues. If not, your validation will fail.

Why are we doing this?
1. To provide higher security and validation of all adult users.
2. To clean up the mess we've accumulated via 15 years of poor user data entry.

How will we do this?

What should you do?
Login to https://my.scouting.org/ and copy your BSA ID Number then update your profile on Meritbadge.info.  Let others in your unit know they should do the same.  We are giving you 2.5 months advanced notice to make this work.

Sponsor Information

Dear  Scout leaders & parents,

It
is with great regret that BSA Troop 405 is postponing its 6th Annual
Merit Badge Clinic that was scheduled for April 4th.

Our federal
government is recommending no gatherings in excess of ten people for at least the
next three weeks.

First Lutheran
Church has suspended all church services and church sponsored activities.

FLC
was our host for the MB Clinic and is our chartered organization.

The Glaciers
Edge Council BSA has published the following announcement:

We
are following the guidance of the Wisconsin Department of Health Services, the
Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and local governmental
authorities.

Starting
Monday, March 16, all district and council activities and events will be
conducted virtually or will be postponed or cancelled until at least April
17.

Additionally,
our camp properties will be closed during this time.  We appreciate your
understanding of any necessary adjustments in the interest of health and
safety.

Respectfully,

Jer
Carpenter

The BlueCards were to be pre-filled with the pertinent information and reviewed, approved & signed by ScoutMaster.

For those Scouts who forget their BlueCards, or lose them,  BlueCards are being sold at the concession stand.

Unit Sign-up Instructions
Each Scout can register for  ONE  morning Merit Badge session and  ONE  afternoon session.

Registering for just one session does not change the cost  -  it is still $35 and includes lunch.

Please check back occasionally on this site as more Merit Badges may be offered up to  March 1st!

There is one Merit Badge class that offers a 2 for 1  -  two MBs earned together at same time.

Those two MBs are  Fingerprinting  and  Traffic Safety  -  register for either ONE and you get both!

In the past,  we have also offered Merit Badges that require participation in BOTH sessions - such as First Aid.

Scouts do not need to register for lunch  -  it is included in the cost  (no price adjustment if not participating in lunch).

All leaders & parents  NEED TO REGISTER  for lunch unless they are going to grab lunch elsewhere on their own.

Payment Instructions for the Unit
If registering and mailing payment by the March 20th registration deadline:

send $35 per participating Scout AND $5 per leader / parent to:

Merit Badge classes will be filled at a first come first served basis.

Classes have filled up in the past and a Scout has not been granted their 1st or 2nd or even 3rd choice.
