If you are having trouble registering scouts, carefully read the information on the help tab.
If you send an email that does not include the information we need to help you, it wastes time and will get promptly deleted.
Test drive the new site (in progress) at New Meritbadge.Info.Leave comments at our Facebook page.

Notice!!! Meritbadge.Info will switch to the new site with BSA validation Friday morning March 13th.

If you wish to start using this site today, click here to launch meritbadge.info/mbn2

Adults must enter their BSA Number, DOB, First and Last name as it appears on their BSA ID card. We will query BSA and get back an answer. At this point one of three things can happen:
1) Your registration is verified - you can continue using Meritbadge.info normally
2) You are not registered or your registration has lapsed - your prior rights are revoked and you get the read-only screens that you see before your login
3) You are registered but your YPT has expired - your prior rights are revoked and you get the read-only screens that you see before your login

You have had at least two months to get yourself registered and complete YPT training. If you feel your validation is not working, send us an email with the four data items listed and we will validate your entry.

We have no control over what is on file at BSA. If everything matches your BSA ID card, there should be no issues. If not, your validation will fail.

Why are we doing this?
1. To provide higher security and validation of all adult users.
2. To clean up the mess we've accumulated via 15 years of poor user data entry.

How will we do this?

What should you do?
Login to https://my.scouting.org/ and copy your BSA ID Number then update your profile on Meritbadge.info.  Let others in your unit know they should do the same.  We are giving you 2.5 months advanced notice to make this work.

Sponsor Information

This merit badge college event is sponsored by the Tonkawa District Advancement Committee.

Description

FLAG Ceremony @ 8:15 both Saturdays

The objective of the Tonkawa District Merit Badge College is to provide an opportunity for Scouts within the Tonkawa District to earn merit badges on their journey to acheiving Eagle Rank. Scouts may sign up for four merit badges that will be offered during four sessions: Session 1 (8:30 – 9:50); Session 2 (10:00 – 11:20); Lunch Break (11:20 - 12:00); Session 3 (12:00 – 1:20); and Session 4 (1:30 - 2:50).

Robotics, First Aid, Electronics, and Environmental Science classes require that the Scouts attend back to back sessions. (i.e. all morning or all afternoon) to earn the merit badge.

Scouts must be engaged in a merit badge class at the college to be in attendance, there will be no “open slots” without a parent picking up the Scout and bringing him back later, if needed.

Class sessions are for both Saturdays and most will require some off-site work (homework) and/or field trips in order to complete all of the requirements. Scoutmasters must approve all merit badges for which their Scouts register.  Remember that attendance alone may not result in all requirements being completed. Scouts must participate and demonstrate that they have met each requirement with the merit badge counselor.

A Scoutmaster, committee member or YPT adult must be in attendance from every unit whenever a Scout from their unit is at the college.

Lunch will be served both Saturdays and is included in the price, if your Scout has specific dietary needs plan to bring a sack lunch. Lunch will consist of pizza or hot dogs, chips, water and more during the lunch break.

Counselor Information

Merit badge counselors should email Marty Robbins @ martin.g.robbins@gmail.com with specific questions. A class roster and workbooks for each participant will be provided.

  2. Copy of completed youth protection training (YPT) card
