Biography |
Peter Deane is a medical doctor who specializes allergy/immunology/rheumatology and is a partner in Allergy Asthma Immunology of Rochester, PC (AAIR), an office-based, private group practice with eight physicians and five offices in the greater Rochester, New York area. After college in Philadelphia and a year in Boston, Dr. Deane came to Rochester for medical school; Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester was the site of his residency, in Internal Medicine; his fellowship training in Allergy/Immunology and Rheumatology was also at the U. of R. He is a Fellow of the American College of Rheumatology; the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology and the American College of Physicians.
He began his involvement in Scouting with his older son in Pack 65. From 2010-2016 he was both a merit badge counselor and an ASM in Troop 31. In 2015 he was awarded his Wood Badge and also became a BarkEater at Camp Pioneer at Massawepie. From 2017-2018 he was a Unit Commissioner for Genesee Crossroads District. As of 2018 he became a member of the Troop 31 Committee. He remains a merit badge counselor. |
