Biography |
I studied Computer Science at SUNY Buffalo and worked a 22 year career as a computer engineer, starting my own IT consulting company. During this time, in addition to computer hardware, software and storage, I did computer graphics and web design. In 2011, I went back to school to become a licensed massage therapist, learning anatomy, physiology and pathology.
I am an amateur astronomer and musician, playing violin, trombone, trumpet, guitar, bass and drums. I have also studied filmmaking and have spent some time in Hollywood, meeting with industry professionals from cinematographers to producers.
I am also an avid collector of coins, comic books and movie paraphernalia.

Why I am qualified to teach Moviemaking |
I was introduced to cinematography at a young age by my uncle, who is a film professor. I’ve studied directing, editing, lighting and scoring, and have made a number of student films. I’ve also written a screenplay and flew out to Hollywood on a number of occasions to “shop” it around.
