Biography My name is Dr. Christopher DeClerk and I live in Colleyville, Texas with my family. We have two sons, nine and 12, and  three dachshunds, more commonly known as wiener dogs.

I am a Committee Member, Merit Badge Counselor, and the Chartered Organization Representative for Troop 937, chartered by St. Martin in the Fields Episcopal Church in Keller, Texas. I am also a member of the St. Martin's Vestry and have responsibility for youth ministries.

Professionally, I am a Director in the Total Rewards field, with responsibility for leading the Compensation, Benefits, and Payroll functions for Morsco, one of the oldest plumbing supply companies in the U.S. I am certified as a Senior Professional of Human Resources (SPHR) by the Human Resource Certification Institute, a SHRM-SCP from the Society of Human Resources Management, and am a Certified Compensation Professional, Certified Benefits Professional, and Global Remunerations Professional certifications from World at Work, the Total Rewards Society.

In the past, I worked for three fortune 500 companies and two privately held global companies. I have been in a variety of roles including: Training Manager, Store Manager, District Manager, Manager of Retail Compensation, Divisional HR Director, Director of Total Rewards, and Assistant Vice Chancellor of Total Rewards.

I earned a BS in International Business and Spanish from Arkansas State University, a MBA from the University of Phoenix Oklahoma City campus, a MA in Psychology from American Public University, and completed my Doctorate of Management in Organizational Leadership from the University of Phoenix Online School of Advanced Studies. My doctoral work was studying Transformational Leadership Theory in a retail management to subordinate relationship by comparing the way different generational cohorts are motivated.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family camping, and SCUBA diving. I'm also part-time kid taxi driver and sometimes coach to many youth scouting (one One Cub, one Scout) and sports activities. I have to say that I enjoy that most of all since I get to be with my boys ;)

Take care,

Dr. D.
