Mr. Dailey attended the Georgia Institute of Technology graduating in 1984 with a Bachelors Degree in Aerospace Engineering, and in 1985 with a Masters Degree in Aerospace Engineering. As a graduate student, he worked in the solid propulsion propellant research lab at Georgia Tech.


His first job out of school was with The Aerospace Corporation in El Segundo, California as an engineer in the Liquid Rocket Propulsion group where he supported the Titan IV and Delta II launch vehicle development and flight operations. He developed an expertise in thermodynamics, internal flow analysis, and flight data reconstruction. In 1991, Mr. Dailey was promoted to Project Engineer in the Titan IV Program Office. He was responsible in providing and managing technical support for the U.S. Air Force on issues relating to the development of the propulsion systems for the Titan IV/Centaur launch vehicle.


In 1993, Mr. Dailey moved back to Georgia and joined Lockheed Martin working in the Thermodynamics Group. He supported many programs such as the C-5 Galaxy, C-130J Hercules, and the P-3 Orion.  During this time he also earned a MBA from Kennesaw State University after going to night school for four years. Mr. Dailey eventually became the Lead engineer of the Thermodynamics Group in 1998.  from 2000 to 2008, Mr. Dailey started work on the C-5 Reliability Enhancement and Re-Engine Program as the architect for the program requirements development, systems integration, and verification activities. Currently, he is the Lead Systems Engineer on P-3 Programs.
