Why I am qualified to teach Engineering |
Currently Principal Scientist at IMAX, working on the development of laser digital cinema prjection systems.
Previously was a Senior Research Scientist in R&D at Kodak.
Earned BS & MS degrees in Optics from the University of Rochester.
Mostly have worked on the development of complex optical image capture, projection, and printing systems. Also on illumination systems.
Have had 3 projects become products, including 1 that was recognized for an Engineering Emmy Award from the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences. |
Prerequisites for this Activity |
Pre-requisites: Task 1 (bring item to class to take apart), Task 2, Tasks 4-6, bring worksheets showing completed work.
For Task 6, please bring physical evidence (models, pictures, analysis) to class.
