Biography Born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio and joined the U.S. Air Force out of High School.  Made it to the rank of LIFE Scout and at 17 and a half, left for Basic Training.  Started out as a Cub Scout so I understand the program.

As an adult I held just about all of the positions in a Cub Scout Pack, and went on to Assistant Scoutmaster and then Scoutmaster of a troop. I found and adore being a Commissioner, the Assistant District Commissioner of Neuse River District in Occoneechee Council, Raleigh, NC.

I am an active member of my American Legion post in Wake Forest, NC.  I am the liaison between the BSA and the legion in the area.

I am also a licensed Amateur Radio Operator (a HAM) and have been since 2013.  My call sign is W4CEC.  I am the Trustee of the license for WF4TAL, The American Legion Amateur Radio Club at Post 187 in Wake Forest, NC and I am a charter member of the club.
