Description |
|
The Quad Cities Merit Badge Clinic will be held at United Township High School in East Moline, IL. The clinic is open to all registered Boy Scouts. The registration fee of $20 per scout covers 2 class sessions and includes lunch. Adult leaders who will attend should also register. There will be a registration fee for adults to cover the cost of lunch and materials.
We are looking for volunteers to help out on the day of the event, assisting merit badge counselors in the classes and such. If you're interested in helping out, please register as an adult volunteer. Lunch will be provided to volunteers at no charge. |

Counselor Information |
|
Pre-registered troops will receive pre-printed blue cards for each scout and merit badge registered. Scouts should have the blue cards with them when arriving for each session.
For each blue card, please check the counselor information for accuracy, and sign off on requirements met by the scout during your session. If they completed the badge, sign off on it as complete.
If the scout does not finish all requirements during the session, please provide the scout with your contact info, so that they can provide proof of completion at a later date and mail the blue card to you to sign off.
Please also record the requirements each scout completed on your printed roster and turn the roster in to the organizers at the end of the day. We will record this information and make it available to troop leaders in case of any questions about completed requirements or if a blue card should go missing. |

Unit Sign-up Instructions |
|
Online registration closed 10/1/12. Scouts may still register in advance by sending an email using the contact button on the event page. This way, we can work on finalizing the day's schedule and other details, while still making every effort to get scouts registered for the badges they want.
If you have already registered your unit and need to change a scout's badges please send an email and we'll be glad to help.
--------------------------------------------------------------------- Troop leaders should sign up for an account online at www.meritbadge.info . After signing in, the leader will have be able to enter the registration system and sign up members of their troop.
Adults who will be accompanying their troop to the clinic should also be included in the registration, under the "All Day" session named "ABA, Attendance By Adult", to ensure an accurate count for meals. |

Please mail payments as soon as possible in order to ensure arrival before the clinic. If payment hasn't been received by 10/12, we will accept payment upon arrival at the clinic. |
