Adults must enter their BSA Number, DOB, First and Last name as it appears on their BSA ID card. We will query BSA and get back an answer. At this point one of three things can happen:
1) Your registration is verified - you can continue using Meritbadge.info normally
2) You are not registered or your registration has lapsed - your prior rights are revoked and you get the read-only screens that you see before your login
3) You are registered but your YPT has expired - your prior rights are revoked and you get the read-only screens that you see before your login

You have had at least two months to get yourself registered and complete YPT training. If you feel your validation is not working, send us an email with the four data items listed and we will validate your entry.

We have no control over what is on file at BSA. If everything matches your BSA ID card, there should be no issues. If not, your validation will fail.

Why are we doing this?
1. To provide higher security and validation of all adult users.
2. To clean up the mess we've accumulated via 15 years of poor user data entry.  

How will we do this? 

What should you do? 
Login to https://my.scouting.org/ and copy your BSA ID Number then update your profile on Meritbadge.info.  Let others in your unit know they should do the same.  We are giving you 2.5 months advanced notice to make this work.

The Airport Operators Council in Fairbanks, Alaska will host an Aviation Day for the community. All Boy Scouts interested in earning the Aviation Merit Badge are invited to participate. Contact Melissa Osborn at: fairbanks.aoc@gmail.com or 907-978-3788.

Scouts will register online at (www.meritbadge.info).

Scouts will bring $10 cash for breakfast and pack a lunch. 

Scouts will need to be in uniform and have a signed BSA Flying Permission Form by their parent/guardian in their possession and bring to day of event.
Description
The Aviation Day is organized by the Airport Operators Council at the Fairbanks International Airport.

The event is during the day on Saturday, May 19, 2018

Scouts should be on site by 6:45am and remain until 3:00pm

Scouts will need to bring a BSA signed adult Flying permission form in their possession (available online at the Midnight Sun Council Website).

Scouts need to bring $10 cash for breakfast provided at  Aviation Day.

Scouts also need to bring a sack lunch.

Scouts will need to bring a blue BSA Merit Badge card signed by the Scoutmaster of their Troop, to the day event

Scouts Units must provide adult leadership for of at least one Adult per unit who will be with the Scouts for the day.

This program is provided by the Airport Operators Council in Fairbanks, Alaska.

No Registration is required at the BSA office in Fairbanks, Alaska
