Sponsor Information
This merit badge fair is being sponsored by B.S.A. Troop 75 which is hosted by Westmoore Community Church.  Westmoore Community Church is located at 12609 S. Western Ave, OKC  OK 73170.  Troop 75 has 25 registered youth Scouts and meets each Tuesday night at 7:00 p.m.   Eldon Fossey is the Scoutmaster and Eva Fossey is the Committee Chairperson. Description

Robotics:   Will be determined by counselors.  The fee for the robotics will need to be paid ASAP to make sure robots are here in time for the fair. 


Prerequisites:  Some classes may have prerequisites that must be completed prior to the class, if you wish to finalize the merit badge during the merit badge class.  Some classes may also have age and/or rank requirements.  Unless indicated otherwise, all other requirements for the Merit Badge should be covered in class.

Classroom Setting:   Certain merit badge classes will require outdoor instruction.


Right to Limit or Cancel:  Troop 75 reserves the right to limit or cancel any class.  Merit badges offered are subject to change based on MB Counselor availability and class minimums.  NO WALK-INS will be allowed.  .  Open and ending enrollment will be limited to the dates indicated above.

First Come, First Serve:  Scouts are admitted to classes on a first come, first serve basis via the online registration system.  There is no waiting list for any of the merit badge classes.  Should you encounter a booked class, please monitor the website to see if space becomes available.

Expectation:   Scouts are strongly encouraged to read the Merit Badge Booklet and finish all prerequisites prior to attending the Merit Badge class.  Scouts are also expected to provide a parental e-mail address for communications from the Merit Badge Counselor.

First Aid Station:  There will be a First Aid station provided.  Local emergency medical services (911) will be utilized if required.

Uniform: Participating Scouts should be in full B.S.A. Class A dress for the entire day.  Unless counselor insrtucts otherwise.

Code of Conduct:  The Scout Oath, the Scout Law and the Outdoor Code shall be the code of the Merit Badge Day.  A Scout whose conduct is not consistent with the code will be directed to leave the grounds immediately.


Clean-Up:  A Scout is CLEAN.   Please instruct the Scouts that the classrooms should be kept clean as well.  Future offerings of the Merit Badge Fair depends largely on how well we take care of the facility during this event.

Counselor Information
Unit Sign-up Instructions
 Upon entering the meritbadge.info site, one adult must register with the site and sign-on.  Once the adult has signed onto the site, the adult should go to the events page, select the Merit Badge Fair on Aug. 17th, 2013 and click sign-up on the right side of the screen.  The adult should register each Scout by selecting their requested merit badge and including the necessary individual information within the Scout sign-up screen.  Once the Scout's information is entered, click the add ("+") button and the Scout is considered registered.  The Troop should submit all required paperwork and the payment to Troop 75 by the required date.   Should you have any registration related questions, please contact Jeffrey Wright at mailto:@aol.com.
You may register individually if you need to.


Payment Instructions for the Unit
There are three ways to pay for this event  you can mail a check to the Charted Organization's address or come in person to one of our meetings on Tuesdays.  If you would to pay in person call or email us and will make arrangements if necessary. After you register for classes please remit payment as soon as possible. Payment:  Troop 75 will only accept online registrations.  Do not send payment unless your Troop has completed its online registration.  If a registered Scout is unable to attend, please remove him from the registration system, to allow other Scouts to attend.  Please print two copies of your registration form.  Send one copy with the complete payment no later than Aug 15, 2011.    Retain the other copy of the registration for your records.  Make checks payable to Troop 75 and mail to address above.  You may also pay by paypal,  contact us by email and we will give you information needed.

Day of Event:  Upon arriving you will check in at West Door of Church. Check-in will be open at 7:15. There will be a designated area upon arrival before classes start. The classes will start at 8:00.

By registering for this clinic, you are authorizing Troop 75 or any entity or person designated by them the right to the use or reproduction of any and all photographs, video, or other media taken on the persons named above during the classes or related activities. All photographs, videos, or other media are the property of Troop 75 and may be used for scouting purposes without additional consent. No scout will be identified by name in any photograph/video.
