Adults must enter their BSA Number, DOB, First and Last name as it appears on their BSA ID card. We will query BSA and get back an answer. At this point one of three things can happen:
1) Your registration is verified - you can continue using Meritbadge.info normally
2) You are not registered or your registration has lapsed - your prior rights are revoked and you get the read-only screens that you see before your login
3) You are registered but your YPT has expired - your prior rights are revoked and you get the read-only screens that you see before your login

You have had at least two months to get yourself registered and complete YPT training. If you feel your validation is not working, send us an email with the four data items listed and we will validate your entry.

We have no control over what is on file at BSA. If everything matches your BSA ID card, there should be no issues. If not, your validation will fail.

Why are we doing this?
1. To provide higher security and validation of all adult users.
2. To clean up the mess we've accumulated via 15 years of poor user data entry.  

How will we do this? 

What should you do? 
Login to https://my.scouting.org/ and copy your BSA ID Number then update your profile on Meritbadge.info.  Let others in your unit know they should do the same.  We are giving you 2.5 months advanced notice to make this work.

Description
This is the portal for signing for merit badges at summer camp.  If you would like to go but haven't signed up with your Scoutmaster or YM leader please let them know ASAP.  Remember that the cost of attending the meritbadge camp is $150.



Please take note of the listed prerequisites when you sign up for a merit badge.  Not all merit badges have prerequisites.



Session times for merit badges are listed below.  Be sure to avoid signing up for more than one merit badge per session.  Citizenship in the World and Citizenship in the Nation will take place on Monday from 8AM-12PM and Tuesday from 8AM-12PM respectively.  Please note that Hiking is a double session. 



If any youth are interested in doing the mile swim: you must pass a 0.5 mile swim test on Monday upon arrival.  The mile swim will take place Friday afternoon.  Scouts who want to do the mile swim should not sign up for merit badges in session 7 or 8.  If you are interested in doing this please contact Karl Williams <karlcwilliams@cox.net> or Robert Call <rwelchcall@gmail.com> to sign up.
