Adults must enter their BSA Number, DOB, First and Last name as it appears on their BSA ID card. We will query BSA and get back an answer. At this point one of three things can happen:
1) Your registration is verified - you can continue using Meritbadge.info normally
2) You are not registered or your registration has lapsed - your prior rights are revoked and you get the read-only screens that you see before your login
3) You are registered but your YPT has expired - your prior rights are revoked and you get the read-only screens that you see before your login

You have had at least two months to get yourself registered and complete YPT training. If you feel your validation is not working, send us an email with the four data items listed and we will validate your entry.

We have no control over what is on file at BSA. If everything matches your BSA ID card, there should be no issues. If not, your validation will fail.

Why are we doing this?
1. To provide higher security and validation of all adult users.
2. To clean up the mess we've accumulated via 15 years of poor user data entry.  

How will we do this? 

What should you do? 
Login to https://my.scouting.org/ and copy your BSA ID Number then update your profile on Meritbadge.info.  Let others in your unit know they should do the same.  We are giving you 2.5 months advanced notice to make this work.

Troop 347 Merit Badge College

Thank you for your interest in participating in our Merit Badge College!  We are looking forward to hosting you on March 7th!  Below you will find important information regarding the plan for the day. 



TO CONFIRM YOUR REGISTRATION, PLEASE ADD THE ADDRESS BELOW TO YOUR "SAFE SENDER " LIST BEFORE E-MAILING THE EVENT  COORDINATOR







Check in begins at 7:00.

Opening ceremony in sanctuary at 7:45

Morning session runs from 8:00-11:30

Lunch (included) is from 11:30-12:25 (Pizza, Fruit, Chips, Dessert, Water)

Afternoon session is from 12:30-4:00

Please consider staying after to help clean up if you are able - many hands make light work!



PRE-PAYMENT ONLY, PLEASE.  $15 per Scout.  Sorry, no refunds.  Proceeds above and beyond our expenses are donated to Dunkirk Baptist Church for the use of their facility.

Each Scout should come prepared with all required prerequisites finished.  Some of the longer badges require a longer period of time to finish, and the scout may need to finish with another counselor or make arrangments to connect with the counselor from the Merit Badge College.  All blue cards will be returned to Scouts at the end of each session, whether they are complete or not.



In addition, please wear Class A uniform and bring the following:




  1. Blue card for each badge

  2. Pen, pencil and paper

  3. Any materials the counselor may request or as needed as part of completing the badge

  4. Permission slip (will e-mail to units at a later time)

  5. A little extra money for snacks

  6. Positive Scout Spirit!


Finally, at check-in, please send ONE representative from your unit to turn in permission slips and collect your unit's registration packet.  We are making an effort to simplify check-in and are requesting pre-payment when at all possible, either by PayPal (or check).
